ECHOES OF HOME
Echoes of Home is a self-authored and illustrated comic exploring identity, memory, and belonging through a dialogue between past and present.

Echoes of Home is a 50-page illustrated book that I wrote and designed as a personal exploration of identity and belonging. Rooted in my connection to Lebanon, the project reflects on memory, displacement, and the idea of home as something both inherited and re-imagined. Through illustration and writing, the book blends traditional visual references with contemporary design, creating a layered and intimate visual language.

The project unfolds as a series of moments rather than a linear narrative — fragments of memory, cultural symbols, and everyday scenes that evoke nostalgia and familiarity. Each page is treated as a standalone composition while contributing to a cohesive rhythm across the book. Echoes of Home was exhibited at Wilde Gallery in Paris, where it was presented as both a visual and narrative object, inviting viewers to engage with the work as a shared reflection on roots, distance, and belonging.
